| Very nice, The swirled ribbed flask is unique in that most Nailsea flask I see are white looped decoration. What can I say about that flecked ink that it's not already saying itself. Wow!!! Where did you get it, I have never seen one before. Great form and looks. They would both feel at home in my collection. HA, HA, only joking but I would like to find simular myself. Thanks for showing me, Greg

| I purchased the ink about 10 years ago at a Summernational show at Wath --- my late lamented good friend Bob Davidson kindly pointed it out on Les Thin's stall. I only know of one other similarly decorated example in the Bottle Museum at Elsecar.
Wanted --- any unusual items from Kent & the South East, including advertising, early stoneware, & bottles (of course!). Also rare patent poisons, early pontilled medicines, & rare burst lip/teakettle inks.

As John said only 2 of those inks recorded - both appeared in the North East - Scottish or Newcastle region manufacture?
There's a nice (lip damaged) black and white flattened flask in BBR's October 4th catalogued sale ..... with 2 delightfull rigarees running the full body length ...... worthy of restoration methinks?
Not much Nailsea turns up Greg, and when it does it is snapped up ....... unless cracked!

| This is my one and only Nailsea example. I'm hoping to add more to my collection.
